This cutie pie has such a darling smile and the coolest way to get around- crawling while kneeling upright. I am so impressed! It was so fun to photograph her with her loving parents . . . who were one of my wedding couples a few years ago!

Oh that baby face! This handsome boy has such amazing eyes--what a window to his wise soul. I had the INCREDIBLE privilege of being his first photographer at his birth this past week. He is pictured here at less than 24 hours old--I had to make another visit to soak up some more baby sugar. ;)

My heart goes out to my dear friend as she and her family mourn the loss of their beautiful Madison, who died while saving her little brother from drowning. Her funeral service today was incredibly inspirational. I will be forever thankful I had the opportunity to create a portrait of Madison a couple of years ago and document the love her family shared for one another. Madison's friends made 1000 paper cranes to honor her by- may she rest in peace.
