*Announcement*
After a lot of thought and careful consideration, I've decided it's time to close shop. If you are on my calendar for the Spring or we have been in discussion about scheduling your session, your session is safe and I will hold your spot, but I won't be taking anymore sessions outside of those.
The year 2023 marks the 17th year of business for me, which is hard to wrap my head around. Some of my first little clients are now married and have kids of their own. I can't describe the joy and privilege it's been to do this job for nearly two decades, and I will miss it and all of you immensely. My own life has changed dramatically the last few years, in hard but good ways, and I am moving away from Lexington this Spring. I contemplated trying to keep the business going, but starting it all over again somewhere new is just more than I want to take on at nearly 50 years old, and I don't have much time for it now as is. In addition, my business website situation has just been one mess after another the last couple years with my long-time website company going under during the pandemic, and after the time consuming process of rebuilding the site once with a new company, it has again collapsed and I just don't have the time or energy to rebuild it twice.
Thank you all for hanging in there with me through all the ups and downs, particularly through some craziness of the pandemic. I like to think that I've made hundreds and hundreds of new friends over the years instead of impersonal client relationships, and I hope all of you feel comfortable to stay in touch with me. I want to hear what you're up to and see all those lovely faces again.
