Totally worth waking up early for — and honestly, it's EASY here. The mainland time change does half the work, the days are full of adventure, bedtimes come early… and the famous Kauai roosters handle the rest. 🐓

A surprise proposal — and for once, the photographer was surprised too! 💍

Usually I know — the guy calls ahead, we pick the spot, we plan the signal. But this morning, in the middle of a family Photo Session at Kalapaki Beach, this guy just decided it was time. Down on one knee, right there in the surf.

She had no clue it was coming. And when she said yes, the folks up in the houses on the cliffs started cheering like it was the Super Bowl. Her face in that last photo says everything.

Best shore excursion on the whole NCL Pride Of America Kauai cruise? This one. 🚢❤️

This big, beautiful family sailed into Kauai on the Pride of America, docked at Nawiliwili Harbor, and just walked over — our Photo Session spot at Kalapaki Beach is only about a quarter of a mile from the ship! No tour bus, no rental car, no stress. Just a short stroll and they were barefoot in the sand with the whole crew, grandparents to grandkids, making the kind of memories that outlast any souvenir shop.
