I studied art and apparel design at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, and found photography after becoming a mother. With a little point and shoot, I began learning about photography and turning little family outings into images of captured memories. I fell in love with the creative outlet, the endless opportunity for places to explore and instant gratification of capturing a still at just the
right moment. Most days you will find me with our three boys, exploring in the woods or camping, collecting veggies and bugs in our garden or in the kitchen making large amounts of tomato sauce, or trying out a new recipe. I love to explore with my loves by my side, to breathe fresh air and wonder at this amazing world God created. I love to cook, bake and eat, to take photos, paint, draw, and design costumes for our boys, to plan festive holidays and tea parties. I come from a long line of women who work with their hands and am blessed to be married to a man who comes from a long line of men who share a love of handmade and hand grown work. Without him, our families and a few close friends this little dream could never be a reality. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Any good thing here comes from Him. He sees all the moments and I’m thankful for the ones He allows me to witness and capture. Motherhood is my passion. Family, maternity, baby, and artistic projects are my favorite. I would love the opportunity to photograph your special moments, to lean in with you and those you love, to capture the stories beckoning to be told. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to do more of this thing I love! Let me share that with you!
