Okayyyy I’ve been sitting on this idea and I’m way too excited about it 👀🍎

I’m officially launching Creative Mini Sessions with Prairie & Pine Photography.

These are not your typical “stand here and smile” minis. Each one will be built around a full concept with its own styling, mood, props and overall vibe so your gallery feels more like a tiny cinematic story.

Think apple orchards, pumpkin heads, 70s ghosts, Twilight-inspired woods, Dr Pepper date nights and all the weird, nostalgic, romantic ideas in between.

And the very first concept is…

The details are never just the details. 🥹

The way they held onto the dress. The flowers wrapped in nervous hands. The ring catching the light. The cake already missing a piece. And, obviously, the very important four-legged member of the wedding party. 🤎

These are the tiny pieces of a wedding day that might feel ordinary in the moment, but years from now they’re the photographs that bring you right back to exactly how it all felt.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME

This one feels a little surreal to say out loud, but… this month, I’m officially becoming a full-time photographer. 🤎

Prairie & Pine has been something I’ve poured myself into between workdays, late nights, weekends, family life, and every tiny pocket of time I could find. For a long time, it was the dream I was building “on the side.” Somewhere along the way, it became the life I knew I wanted to build for real.

This means so much more to me than just leaving a job or changing careers. It means choosing the life I’ve worked toward for years. It means getting to wake up and pour my energy into creating, documenting people exactly as they are, and telling stories I genuinely care about.

And I need to say the biggest thank you to every single one of my past and present clients. Truly. Every person who has trusted me with their wedding day, their family, their relationship, their milestones, their memories, you are the reason I get to do this. Every booking, referral, kind message, review, tag, share, and recommendation has helped build Prairie & Pine into what it is today. I will never take that trust lightly.

To everyone who has cheered me on, shared my work, sent my name to a friend, or reminded me to keep going when I doubted myself, thank you, too. You’ve been part of this in ways you probably don’t even realize.

I’m excited, terrified, emotional, and probably going to cry about it approximately 14 more times 😂 but more than anything, I’m incredibly proud that I finally chose to go all in.
