I am beyond excited to announce that a short film I wrote and directed has been selected to screen at the Saugatuck Film Fest!

This recognition belongs to the incredible cast and crew who gave the project their time, talent, and creativity. From the authentic performances of our principal cast to the wild energy of our extras, these kids absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Behind the camera, we brought together some of Indy’s most talented and up-and-coming filmmakers to recreate the hazy aura of rural life in the early ’90s. I’m incredibly proud of what we made together and thrilled to see it on the big screen!

I’ll admit—I’ve been pretty terrible about updating this page with the work I do outside of the wedding industry. It’s time to kick that habit and start sharing more of it here!

Over the past two-plus years, I’ve written and directed two short narrative films and produced and conducted interviews for more than 20 mini-documentary pieces.

This past weekend, we began filming my first feature-length documentary—and it went amazingly well. I hope you’ll follow along as I share production updates from this exciting project.
