How was this twenty years ago? Rockabilly Magazine in-store signing at Tower Records in West Covina. With models and music artists I photographed on the cover and inside the pages. We signed over 350 magazines that day. Forever grateful to Kurt Wada (RIP) for making this event happen.

Remembering Bradley Nowell, who left us on this day in 1996. Crazy that thirty years went by in the blink of an eye. Life movies fast, time stands still for no one. I wrote this memorial and it was published along with my photos I captured onstage with Sublime thirty years ago in Angry Thoreauan Magazine.

Remembering Bradley James Nowell. (Feb. 22.1968- May.25.1996)

“Since I began my work as a photo-journalist I’ve come into contact with many people in the public eye. Some of them have been not only cooperative, but downright nice. Others have been indifferent, and some were just plain nasty. So it was with great sadness that I heard about the untimely death of Sublime’s frontman, Brad Nowell, as he was definitely one of the people who made my work a pleasure... I can only hope that in an industry of attitudes and egos, more of its players will take a cue from Brad, and treat their fans and colleagues with respect and charm.” -Maggie St.Thomas 1996
