Sports, outdoor, and active lifestyle photography. I am a professional freelance photographer in the Boulder, Colorado area. I have a passion and extensive background in competitive cycling, rock & ice climbing, nordic ski racing and the backcountry which keeps me involved 24/7 in these sports and outdoor venues. I started shooting film during my army & college years in the 1980's, then dslr in th

e mid 2000's. I shoot with a Nikon system: D200, D300, (2) D700, and D7000 with Nikon 24-70 f/2.8, Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR, Nikon 16-35 f/4, Tokina 16-28 f/2.8, Sigma 50 f/1.4, as well as several other lens systems...numerous Speedlights, pocket wizards, studio / monolighting system, etc. I also use on camera filters, all post processing using Lightroom 4 and Adobe CS6. While going through a few landscape image folders, I found a few images I never got around to editing. This image was taken along the St. Vrain Creek west of Lyons, Colorado. I did a slow exposure using a ND filter, on a tripod mounted Nikon dslr.
