A collection of moments gathered through the years— places I’ve wandered, worked, and lived; beauty I’ve paused for; and memories that continue to speak to the soul.

📍Starfield Library

The moment my husband realized what kind of “library” I meant, the look on his face was priceless.

📍Grassi Lake Trail

At Grassi Lakes in summer 2024, the waterfalls really said, “we’ve had plenty of rain, let’s show off.” 💦😂

What started as a “nice little hike” quickly turned into a surprise VIP waterfall experience—extra flow, extra sound and extra cardio I did not sign up for.

But honestly? The rain understood the assignment. The falls were louder, fuller, and way more dramatic… kind of like me halfway up the trail. 😅

10/10—would happily struggle again for views like that. 🌿

📍Hyundai Premium Outlet Space1

My husband probably thought a trip to Hyundai Premium Outlet Space 1 would end with shopping bags in both hands. Plot twist: I didn’t buy a single thing! 😂

Instead, I spent the day catching up with a dear friend I hadn’t seen in 9 years. And honestly, that was worth far more than anything I could have brought home.

We wandered through the beautiful rooftop, explored the secret garden, and shared stories about where life has taken us since our college days. Our friendship began when I was teaching her ESL, and now, all these years later, it felt like no time had passed at all.

One of my favorite moments was hearing her say that she still vividly remembers how much I loved taking pictures back then. Well, some things never change… except now I’ve upgraded from taking photos to taking videos of absolutely everything! 🎥😂

Thank you to my sweet Korean friend and her wonderful family for giving us such a special day filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful conversations. Sometimes the best thing you can bring home isn’t something you bought—it’s the joy of reconnecting with people who have been part of your story all along. ❤️

📍Namsangol Park

🔊 Turn the volume on to enjoy the soothing sounds of nature. 💧🌿

Tucked away in Namsangol Park, these little waterfalls create a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The gentle flow of water, rustling leaves, and birdsong made us stop for a moment and simply enjoy being present.

Sometimes the most beautiful travel memories are found in the quietest places.

📍Namsangol Park Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷

🔊 Turn on the volume and let the soothing sounds of nature help you relax.

In continuation to our stroll while finding thoughts for our soul, we found Namsangol Park—a delightful oasis in the heart of the city. The gentle waterfalls, peaceful gazebos perfect for resting, and scenic pathways created a space where time seemed to slow down.

With every step, the noise of the city faded and a sense of calm took its place. Sometimes the best discoveries aren’t on the itinerary—they’re the places that invite you to pause, breathe, and simply enjoy the moment. 🌿💧🍃
