“IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL”
Celebrating 5 Years of NomadFigures • 2/22
NomadFigures was born during the pandemic, when the world slowed down and work in photography and videography disappeared. After retiring from live drumming and touring, I needed a new outlet. Something to build, create, and push forward.
A collector since 2009 and photographer since 2016, I began combining everything I loved: action figures, dioramas, lighting, digital work, and cinematic storytelling. Inspired by artists like .orbit, NomadFigures came to life.
The name is personal.
I’ve always felt like a nomad. An outcast, a rebel.
And somehow, I’ve always managed to figure things out.
Nomad. Figures.
The early days were simple. Phone tests, a DSLR, RGB lights, recycled materials, and raw determination. What followed was time, self-doubt, personal battles, and a few naysayers… then 1,000 followers in a month, collaborations, sponsors, and proof this was becoming something real.
My goal has always been cinematic realism. Blurring the line between toy and film, creating moments that feel pulled from a movie, built from plastic, light, and imagination.
None of this happened alone.
To my communities. The Lost Tribe and Yautja Prime.
To fellow artists turned friends .me.xerces .orbit.
To the brands who trusted my vision thank you.
..And to everyone who supported, shared, or simply stopped to look… I appreciate you more than words can express.
NomadFigures shaped me as much as I shaped it. Discipline, focus, consistency, growth, and confidence.
Five years later, I’m still evolving, still learning, still building worlds.
This isn’t a finish line.
It’s a lifelong path.
