“Walking Into The Mist Of The Fog”

A blast from the past. I was going through my photos, and realized how much I like this one 4 years later. Furthermore, I was messing around with negative space as my wife was walking down the path at Spooners Cove along the cliffs of the ocean. Central Coast, Los Osos, California. Nikon D3400 50mm

What is Negative Space in Photography?
It emphasizes not just the subject but also the empty space around the subject. So, although the viewer's eyes may focuson a central figure, they can't help but notice the large section of emptiness that surrounds and defines that figure.
