The photo strip is the part your guests actually take home.

It ends up on a fridge, in a wallet, taped inside a locker door. Which is why we think the little strip deserves more attention than it usually gets.

The colors from your invitations. A typeface that matches instead of almost matching. Enough room around a name so it still reads once it is printed that small. Honestly, most of what makes a strip look right is not a design decision at all — it is a printing one.

None of that shows up in the photos people post the same night. It shows up six months later, when the strip is still on the fridge.

Something we notice at almost every party.

The food shows up. The music plays. The decorations are already there when people walk in. All of it lovely, and none of it asks anybody to do a thing.

The booth is the one piece guests have to decide to walk over to. Which is why where it goes matters more than most people expect. Put it too far from where everyone is already standing and it sits quiet all night. Put it in the right spot and there is a line before the cake even comes out.

So when we ask where you are thinking of putting it, we are not being fussy. We have seen the sad-corner version, and we would much rather move one table now than look at empty photos later.

We got a little carried away this weekend.

The question was simple: what would a holiday party booth look like if it wasn't red and green? So we designed one that isn't. Deep evergreen instead of red, warm brass instead of silver, not a snowflake anywhere, and a print you'd actually still have on your desk in January instead of leaving in the car.

Nobody's booked it. We just wanted to see it.

Here's the part of an event nobody ever photographs. 🌙

The last song ends, the lights come up, and we're the ones still there — winding up cables, stacking the prints somebody left behind on a table, sweeping the little patch of floor where the booth was standing so the venue's closing crew doesn't inherit our mess.

Nobody sees that part. But it's honestly what I'd ask about if I were hiring someone for my own family's party — not how a team shows up, but how they leave.

Quinceañera season sneaks up on people. 💃

If there's one coming up this fall, the photo booth is one of those things worth sorting early — the good dates go first.

Ours prints right there in the room, in her colors, with her name on every photo. Guests can send copies to their own phones before they've even sat back down, and with an unlimited-print package the tías and abuelas all go home holding one.

We bring it, set it up, stay with it all night, and pack it out. Anywhere in LA County.
