We don't dance, we woogie.

"Some people simply walk in the rain - but we danced, camped, laughed and survived one of Southern California's biggest storms in over 100 years and we did it together. The teamwork that built our camp is in the same ethos of the teamwork that built this festival; it's a spirit that reinvigorates the body while the soundscape of House and Techno resonated to our core. Woogie Weekend was an unimaginable auditory adventure and an environmental experience that can never be duplicated. For three days, we talked in technicolor while adapting to chaos, we made lemonade out of lemons - and found a warm community to spike it with punch drunk love while truly living and loving every moment."

The OPIUO Band has taken live dance music to a whole nother level. To say it has a genre is almost an insult to the mad creativity...its simply good music! So happy that I had the opportunity to work with such a talented bunch.

Winding around the house were tables and EZ-ups, with pile upon pile of delicious, local eats and treats. From MilkfarmLA and Little Beast Restaurant Eagle Rock – two of the latest establishments to cruise onto Colorado Blvd – out the traditional grubberies MaxCityBBQ, Capri Italian Restaurant, Four Cafe, Knowrealitypie, Dave's Chillin N Grillin and the delectable Caramia Gelato stand up to the national spots like Chipotle Mexican Grill, Trader Joe's and Jamba Juice, everyone was there and doling out their Sunday best. We even got to do some Cider and Wine tasting thanks to Colorado Wine Company and Cider House 101! Within the first 45 minutes over 200 people had shown up to grub down and chill out, and the party was a buzz with warm energy.
