Every corner of Universal Music Publishing Group’s office tells a story of innovation and artistic flair. From the modern and open areas to the sleek, high-tech work areas, each element is a testament to the creativity that pulses through this space.

Capturing these details was a dynamic challenge, especially given our tight schedule. With only one day to shoot - originally two - I had to be meticulous about time, calling out every 15 minutes to keep us on track. If you've met me, you know I’m the chattiest person on the planet, and I'm all over the place, but secretly, I'm watching the clock, and I'm making sure that we have time for greatness while at the same time having a blast doing so.

For the first time ever, I called out those times: 10:45, 15 more minutes on the shot. 10:50, we got 10 more minutes. 10:55. I need models right now. And the clients loved the professionalism. 

At the end of the day we got so much incredible work, and so, it's one of those projects where I still can't even believe it ended the way it did. Talk about a perfect day. I think we were there an hour or two before dawn, and left a couple hours after sunset, I would shoot this every day if I could. There’s something truly magical about live music in the workplace. At Universal Music Publishing Group, Thursday isn’t just another day; it’s when the office comes alive with the sound of a live band. Are you kidding me? Get people back to work with live music every week, giving these music professionals a chance to share their work… A free concert once a week? That would do it for me.

Capturing these performances was not only thrilling but also crucial in illustrating how music transforms a workspace into a hub of inspiration.

I was particularly excited about this project because it was the first time I arranged for a live band during a photography session. Despite the compressed schedule, having them play brought a vibrant energy that lifted everyone’s spirits and really showcased the unique atmosphere of the office. is known for its top-tier, forward-thinking approach to real estate. When they came to us for a brand video and architectural and video photography, we knew it had to be as dynamic and bold as they are. 

We captured photographs and video before the buildings were in construction, after they were completed, and even returned for special events like a 200-person yoga session in the park at Indeed Tower in Austin, Texas. Because public art is so important to Kilroy, we worked with their fine art consultant, , as well as Shannon Knuth of , to photograph or film installations. 

Our architectural photography captures the essence of Kilroy's projects, from the early stages of construction to bustling activity. These images aren't just buildings; they are the story of Kilroy's legacy, told through our lens.

Over the last decade, we’ve documented Kilroy’s incredible projects across multiple cities. We captured it all – from the bustling streets of San Francisco to the tech hubs of Seattle and more – and sometimes at the drop of a hat! Their photo and video shoots are high-level, and we’ve expertly navigated every challenge that’s come our way.

The result isn’t just architectural photography; it’s capturing the spirit of Kilroy’s vision. Each image is a chapter in their story, capturing world-class innovation, energy, and excellence. They’ve even used our photos on the cover of their annual Sustainability Report. AMAZING!! Sustainability is just one part of how makes their buildings innovative.

Our photos and videos also feature prominently in their case studies, presentations, events, and many of their vibrant and ingenious campaigns, both in print and online. We’re partners in this, and it’s a joy to contribute. I feel like I get the best part—that’s when you know everything’s working.

We’re proud to launch an extraordinary Auckland, New Zealand project in collaboration with Unispace. We have documented the creation of one of the world’s first workplaces to target Living Building Interior Fitout certification.

Posted • The new Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at San Francisco Airport (SFO) had its grand opening yesterday and we couldn’t be more excited to share it! It is designed within the new Terminal 2 at SFO and marks Air Canada's first lounge at SFO. Offering travelers a place to relax during their journey and in alignment with the Air Canada brand, the space is a reprieve from the stresses of the airport. A beautiful 8,168 sf outdoor terrace, which is a first of its kind for Air Canada, has two outdoor v***r fireplaces and can seat 165 guests. The new lounge represents a collaborative partnership between Air Canada and Gensler and combines elements of hospitality with the functional needs of the traveler, blending into one inviting space.
