Stamp of Courage: A Journey of Sacrifices and Dreams
Assimilation, the struggle of trying to fit in, or washing away the culture of our ancestors have always been a struggle from the beginning of our journey here in the United States. “Stamp of courage” is a beautiful mark, a unique scar, a unique story that all of us carry with us. This exhibit talks to those first and second generations who have these same scars in the same location. Though the scars look very different, they experience the same push back and the struggles to fit in, and most of all the courage to still keep going to reach for their dreams brings these individuals together.
