this might be one of la’s best hidden vintage photo booths… at lore in leimert park sits this beautifully restored model 21 analog photo booth from 1990. It originally came from new orleans before being restored by the booth buds and eventually finding its new home inside lore, a black owned independent bookstore and cultural archive in los angeles.

there’s something really special about experiencing an analog photo booth in a space like lore. you’re surrounded by physical books, art, design and decades of ideas preserved on paper… and then you walk away with another physical object documenting your own moment there ✨

photo booths in random places, part 9 📚📸🎞️

today we visited one of the most magical places… lore in leimert park, a black owned independent bookstore and cultural archive centered around literature, art, design, community and black culture.

tucked between this beautiful space is something we definitely didn’t expect to find… a fully functioning vintage analog photo booth 🤩🎞️

this is a model 21 from 1990 that originally came from new orleans before being beautifully restored by the booth buds and given a new home here at lore.

step inside, close the curtain, take your photos and shortly after, you’re holding a classic black and white 2×6 photo strip developed right inside the machine.

our portrait booth setup for this anaheim wedding 📌🤍 we curated a beautiful portrait photo booth experience for this beautiful wedding reception inside the grand theater in anaheim.

we worked with the bride and groom ahead of their special date to select a backdrop, curate the set design, and custom design a print template to pair beautifully with the theme of their wedding. the couple even selected black and white photographs making this special celebration editorial, luxurious, and elegant.

additionally, photo portraits are taken by a professional photographer with a full frame mirrorless camera, giving these photographs the highest quality justice they deserve on the most special day :)

happy world photography day 📸🌎✨ there’s something truly special about being a photographer.

photography is something we both fell in love with long before it ever became our job. growing up, we were always experimenting, learning, creating, and finding new ways to see the world through a lens… from digital photography and film to video, and everything in between.

all these years later, that love for creating has grown into a business where we get to do what we purely love… photograph people on some of the happiest and most meaningful days of their lives. having a wedding portrait photo booth is literally a dream come true for us!!

maybe that’s what makes photography so special to us. whether it was our career or not, we know we’d still be behind a camera. we’d still be taking photos, chasing moments, experimenting with light, and finding reasons to create somehow, someway.

photography has given us a way to preserve moments, tell stories, meet incredible people, and turn something we’ve loved our entire lives into something we get to share with others. we’ll never take that for granted.

when you tell your guests you’ll have a photo booth, but they show up to a photographer hand delivering professional portrait prints 📸🩶✨

for this san diego event, the client wanted our silver shimmery backdrop and the custom print template to feature 3 hotel logos, disco balls, stars, and a navy blue outline.

once those details were finalized, we brought in our full frame mirrorless camera and studio lighting to assist with taking beautiful portrait photographs of guests all night long.
