Happy Saturday! Check out the incredible work my students made in my "Printmaking Basics" class for Metropolitan Community College (Nebraska). They learned about different printmaking techniques, history and processes. I am so impressed with the pieces they created and was inspired by each of them (and by the fact that they all wore green to our last class together on St.Patricks Day 🍀). I am grateful to have such a great opportunity to teach such an inspiring group of humans!

I am so grateful for and proud of my students! Tonight they learned about printmaking tools, methods, materials, and how to use them best. They collaborated on a print as they were exploring different methods of carving and different tools. After they created this print I noticed this statue I'd missed before and realized...it might have subconsciously inspired some of their line work...art imitates life! I cannnot wait to see the magic they are each going to create as they learn more. Yay!

What a beautiful day to teach my "En Plein Air" watercolor class through Metropolitan Community College (Nebraska) ! We lucked out with perfect weather and stunning views. Thank you to everyone that showed up and made incredible work.
