One last time…
I have been MIA for some time, but as most of you know I have an upcoming rotation. The deployment itself is not hard, but saying bye to my little ones has been one of the most difficult things I have ever done. As I’m putting them to sleep one last time, I’m laying there in the middle and I have them one in each arm. Ryan looks at me and tells me - “I don’t want you to go”. Daniela says to me as she’s drinking her cheche (that’s what she calls her milk) - “I love you with all my heart Daddy”. It was a hard and beautiful moment at the same time. Today I actually completed 19 years in the Army, and is today that I have to say goodbye to my love ones, one last time.
I couldn’t actually do any of this if it wasn’t by my amazing wife. She is a rockstar. Not only she manages her business but also the household while I’m gone. Her words were never discouraging, or she never showed any concerns. She just said - “one last time, and then you’ll be home with us”. I am so blessed to have the family I have and cannot wait till this is over.
This definitely confirms that I am ready to close this chapter in our lives and start a new one. Keep our family in your prayers and thank you 🙏 for your continuous support. We really appreciate it.
