Crave Connections?

Join fellow photogs for an evening of “speed dating.” This is the time! Throughout the evening you will be paired with everyone in attendance for a few minutes answering fun questions (it’s not all business related) to get to know fellow professionals and enthusiasts. (Think—meeting possible second shooters, collaborators, mentors or just new friends). Introvert or extrovert, it’s ok. With your choice of pre-written questions, you won’t ever feel awkward—just accepted.

Join everyone for dinner (own cost) at 6:30pm and then from 7:15-8:45, the fun, laughter and business-building connecting will ensue.

*Meal is an extra fee and optional.

Come hear Paul Roberts speak on “Media Sports & Action.”

Monday, January 19, 2026 6:30 p.m.
At Picoso’s Mexican Restaurant, 7611 Milwaukee Ave, Lubbock

Come learn the nuances of sports and action photography! Paul will provide a breakdown of how to shoot action, workflow, and work with low light. Paul has been shooting for the media since the early 2000s and is currently covering Texas Tech Sports for Ramar Communications. He is also a freelance pro rodeo photographer for most of the summer, 3 to 4 days a week, in a 300 mile radius around Lubbock TX.
