Do you ever just sit in awe of how God led you to a specific moment?
As I was editing Henry’s 2nd birthday photos, I couldn’t get over how adorable he is with his little horse and trash truck. But as I zoomed in and out of each image, I started noticing all the little details…features that were so clearly from his mom and others that were definitely from his dad. And then all of a sudden I was deeeep in my nostalgic feels😅
For this exact moment to exist, so many things had to happen!
My husband had to become best friends with Henry’s dad in junior high. Henry’s dad had to fall in love with his mom around that same time. They all had to end up at Texas Tech, where Henry’s mom became my little in our Christian sorority. We became best friends, and just a little while later she introduced me to my husband. Then we all got married, started families, and are now raising this beautiful second generation of friends together!
How amazing is that?
It’s such a reminder that every moment matters. Every relationship matters. God is always weaving together a story far bigger than we can see in the moment…
