I woke up one day with an idea and told God, “Lord, if this is meant to be, make it happen.” 🙏

Well… be careful what you ask God for because He took off running, and I haven’t stopped since! 😂❤️

Today, she got delivered! 🏡✨ One step closer to bringing the vision of Broken K Farm Store & Photography to life.

I’m so excited, a little overwhelmed, and beyond grateful for what God is doing for our little farm because believe me …. This was not an easy process! I can’t wait to see what these next few weeks bring!

Let me just brag on my friend for a minute… ❤️

Farming has led me to develop some really great friendships and meet all kinds of amazing people. Today, I’m going to brag on my girl, Mrs. Susanne!

For anybody who thinks we just have a few chickens and sell eggs, I cannot tell you how far off you are! 😂

Mrs. Susanne works a full-time job, raises chickens, builds coops, makes all kinds of jellies and jams, balances her grandbabies and her husband (who is also a farmer), keeps up with all the state certifications, and somehow manages to do about a million other things.

As busy as y’all think I am, I truly don’t know how she does it all! And now she’s running a website and managing an entire operation. 👏

I’m going to work on getting her to take some more selfies so y’all can see the face behind ALL the hard work she does! Because let me tell you, this woman deserves to be recognized.

Mrs. Susanne, I’m so proud of you and everything you’re building! ❤️

And to all the other women out there balancing family, work, farming, and everything in between… I see you, and I’m cheering you on! 💪🌻
