I remember when the thigh rolls slowly melted away from my baby’s chubby little thighs! These days don’t last forever. But photos bring you back so even though one day you won’t be able to kiss those chubby cheeks or poke those chunky thighs, you’ll be brought right back to this season!

🫧 Bubbles are the ultimate combo 🫧of simplicity, whimsy & wonder🫧 I’ll never get over photos of littles enjoying them. Really, I wish there were just bubbles🫧 everywhere, all the time. Is that too much to ask?! 🫧

Also, I could not decide which I loved more-- color or black and white!😍

All I can think of when I look at these photos is Peter Pan. I can just hear “you can fly, you can fly, you can fly” in my mind with Tinkerbell’s fairy dust everywhere! Swipe twice to compare to the original Wendy.

Is it just me or are these giving Peter Pan and Wendy?

So many little details we think we’ll remember forever but as the mom of a now high schooler, I can tell you that it’s too easy to forget! The play room with those “stuffies” they loved. The way they always propped themselves up on their knees at the dinner table when they were too big for a booster but just a bit small for bench still.

These are the things I love to preserve forever in photos so not only YOU can look back years from now and be transported back to this season, but your KIDS will also get to hold on their childhood memories!

I have a crazy idea for you.
You hire a family photographer but
You don’t go out to a field somewhere you just stay home
You don’t have to buy expensive matching outfits
You don’t feel the pressure for your kids to perform for the camera
Your husband isn’t cranky about being there
Everyone is actually enjoying themselves
You get photos in the place you have the most memories
Of your family doing what you love to do together
You don’t compare your photos with someone else
Because these photos are uniquely YOU
And it ends up being less of a crazy idea
And actually
just
kinda
awesome.

Remember when a photo actually captured a memory? A feeling? When it was about more than just what looked great on social media or a Christmas card?

It's not that there's anything wrong with those things, but maybe we've been missing out lately on the real stuff. The pictures we'll look back on years from now and instantly remember what that day felt like.

More of these. More sunlight and shadow. More mess. More story.
