Looking back at this studio session just gives my mama heart all the feels - these special seasons with littles are incredibly fleeting. Time does not slow down, does it??!

Over the years, I've mainly worked with moms of newborns. I enjoy making new moms feel seen and beautiful in that big life changing season, while also freezing time for them and their sweet babies. But, recently I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding for my sweet sister in law.

I got to observe and capture the moments of a mother who is sending off her only daughter - it was full of SO many mixed emotions. It was really special and I'm grateful for this fresh perspective.

While I do not have plans to go into wedding photography consistently, I look forward to sharing some more favorites from this day🥰

Deciding on colors during a newborn session can feel tough - my biggest suggestion is to always think of where you might display your photos and/or hang your prints; what colors are you already decorating with?

📸 Compliment those by choosing wrap or outfit colors accordingly and your photos will end up feeling like intentional artwork within your home.
