Collage class at the Aisling Irish Center was such a joy. I love creating with people of all ages, and collage has a beautiful way of opening the door to conversation. As we sifted through images, stories naturally surfaced—why someone chose a bird, a rose, a musician, or a favorite food.

We found ourselves talking about meals that reminded us of our mothers and grandmothers. One woman’s collage was filled with birds, another spoke about her lifelong love of roses, and someone else lit up sharing her admiration for Janis Joplin.

Collage becomes more than arranging paper; it becomes a way of connecting. The arts help us come together, share our stories, and remember the people and experiences that shape us.

Her sessions invite individuals to slow down, interact with images, and explore their inner world with curiosity and compassion. Through art, photography, and visual storytelling, participants deepen self‑awareness, strengthen emotional wellbeing, enrich relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity.
