On my recent trip to NYC, I only brought two lenses with me - the XF 14mm f/2.8 was one of them.

Pretty small and compact, giving a focal length (crop factor) of 21mm, I was curious and excited to try this out in Manhattan. This lens allows me to fit so much into the frame.

I’ve never owned anything this wide before, so it was a fun challenge to shoot in this brand new perspective in a city that I love visiting very much.

Manhattan on Kodak Pro Image 100 🎞️

A couple months ago I picked up some discounted, about to expire (at the time) Kodak Pro Image 100. I had never shot this film stock and for the price I got it, I couldn’t pass up on it. Even with the cloudy weather that we experienced in New York, I really like the look of this stock! Though, I am very excited to give it another go in some sunny weather coming up this summer, but otherwise, pretty happy with it! I really liked how the blues turned out in the shots inside Blue Box Café!

Manhattan on Fujifilm Neopan Acros II 🎞️

I’ve been waiting sooo long to shoot this film stock. I’ve been a big fan of Fujifilm’s Acros film simulation since I first got my hands on the XT3 nearly seven years ago, and I finally got around to shooting the film stock (thanks to my love for the birthday present). Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Glad I brought this with to New York (I’d be crazy if I didn’t bring it) and so happy with how this turned out. Time to stock up on some more 👀
