Yesterday we saw this little guy swimming close to shore and noticed he had a very large tumor on his front flipper. We lost track of him, but found him again this morning. About a mile from us is a Turtle Hospital, so they brought us a net to help catch him. His tumor is pretty bad, but they’ll do their best to remove it and release him. We’re hoping in a week or 2 they’ll have an update on their website. His new name is Bayside. 🐢
