It may have been a bit foggy for the Supermodified feature at Oswego Speedway on Saturday night 7/4/26, but what is perfectly clear is that Otto Sitterly is Hooked Up this season - having gone 3 for 3 in the Novelis series main events thus far in 2026. Another strong run, this time from the 12th starting position, and a happy return to Victory Lane.

Last-but-not-least among new winners at Oswego Speedway, Nick Snyder took his first Heat win in the Novelis Supermodified portion of last night's Burke's Independence Day slate. He had to wait a bit longer after a close call a few weeks back, but this time he got it done. And another great family moment in Victory Lane!

Here's a look at the competitive SBS Feature at Oswego on 6/20/26, with a great race-long battle between Griffin Miller, Rob Pullen, and Noah Ratcliff. Miller got the lead on an early-race restart and held them off the rest of the way - but not without a fight, and a lot of action all around.

A very happy winner in Victory Lane!

And here's Part 2 of my initial samples from Oswego's regular season opener on Saturday 6/6/26. To the Victors go the spoils...

First off, Talen Hawksby made a strong run to collect his fourth career 350 Supermodified feature. Next up, Otto Sitterly rebounded from the prior week's engine failure to capture his 10th Shampine Memorial. And lastly - after an hour+ feature w/ a couple of red flags - Andy Jodway had no issue with the delays, as he re-entered Victory Lane following a 28 year absence.

One very cool trophy, and a bunch of happy folks in Victory Lane!

Here's Part 1 of my samples from the 'traditional' Oswego opener on Saturday 6/6/26. There were so many different storylines that I decided to break it up a bit - this batch goes through the heats.

Jerry Rich's retirement was announced at a subsequently lively Driver's Meeting. Otto Sitterly tinkered with a newly installed big block - then proceeded to set fast time, win his heat, and draw the Pole. Tyler Thompson hopped aboard the Vic Miller 11, to keep points chases going for both driver & owner. Dave Shullick Jr. and the Osetek crew showed up with a funky tail wing installation. Unfortunately, there was also a series of spins & damaged equipment early on - most notably the 350 of Kyle Perry after a rain delay of about an hour.

Lastly, we also had a preview in the heats of a first-in-a-long-while feature win.

Part 2 highlighting some of the feature action to follow. ;)
