When Enzo’s mom asked if we could squeeze in a puppy session before he got too big, my answer was an easy yes! Puppies don’t stay little for long, and there’s something so special about capturing those oversized paws and playful personalities while they’re still growing. I had the honor of meeting Ember and her mom this past week for these very special photos. Ember was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. I asked her mom to share a little about her, and this is what she wrote:

“Ember is a fiercely loyal partner, a gentle protector, and a constant shadow. She loves going to work with me, playing in the water, and chasing her balls. At night, she has one special stuffed baby that she always has to have by her side. She also loves greeting everyone she meets.”

The bond between Ember and her mom is truly something special. Their love, trust, and devotion to one another shine through in every moment they share. It was an absolute privilege to capture these memories for them, and I hope these photos will always serve as a reminder of the beautiful connection they have together. ❤️
