To celebrate turning 40, I’m photographing The First 40. 40 people, each a different age from 1 to 40, with me as number 40.

Each person will have a quick 5-minute portrait session and receive their portrait for free.

One person at every age. A little snapshot of the first 40 years of life.

Participants must be comfortable signing a model release allowing their portrait to be shared as part of the project. For anyone under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign.

To participate comment your age. Must be available on weekends and willing to drive to Marysville. Photos will be delivered November 25th.

I had an amazing opportunity to work with this family. Mom and dad are both local teachers so we were able to use the beautiful Lincoln High School Farm. Seriously stunning location with beautiful light, but an even more beautiful family. I just loved getting to know them and capturing this moment in time for them.

Paige and Jared trusted me to explore a brand new location, and I couldn't be happier with how it came to life. Every weathered board, glowing light, and vintage detail made these moments feel like memories already tucked into an old photo album.
These two are getting married this October, and I am so excited for them!!
I'm always looking for locations that feel unique and tell a story, and this one checks every box. If you've been dreaming of photos with a cozy, rustic, cinematic feel, this location is now available for future sessions, and I have a feeling it's going to become one of my favorites. 🤍
