Coming back to social media after 6 years you come back feeling like you opened a time capsule. You come back to weddings, growing families, new careers, old friends finding themselves, and people finally living the lives they once talked about. It’s been beautiful seeing how much life has happened while I was away but buried in all that the one thing I didn’t expect to come back to was the passing of my buddy Rene.
When I left social media I believe that year I also got a number change. Pretty much fell off the grid. Life moved on, and so did everyone else
Coming back to this news I was just in complete shock. Rene was by far one of my biggest supporters during my time as a photographer. He was always hitting me up for some sort of shoot or new project he had going on lol. I always loved working with him. Our shoots would take forever cause we couldn’t take it serious half the time from all the laughs. Being heavily involved in the music scene I can honestly say there wasn’t a single person that loved making music as much as rene did. He loved everything about it, not just part of it. He truly embraced music and carried a passion for it like no other.
Thank you for always believing my work Rene. Getting back into photography now I was literally thinking about what you were up to and just hurt to see we won’t be able to work together again. Till next time though

This photo is also a re edit and can honestly say I had a experience with the direction of it with the color tones. I just realized it’s the palette similar to the deftones album lol. Freakin rene, we agreed to blue tones not green.
