You are all invited to Young Kim's solo exhibition, "The Solitary" - a collection centered primarily on figurative paintings inspired by Søren Kierkegaard’s concept of the single individual. Through fractured forms and expressive figures, the exhibition explores themes of individuality, vulnerability, and the human struggle to stand apart from the crowd.

For those of you who could not attend our May Monthly Meeting I wanted to share that we awarded our first annual Toni Wengler Memorial Scholarship to Arianna Simoneschi from Walnut Grove High School. The award was presented by Mayor Pro-Tem Amy Bartley with Arianna's parents in attendance. Arianna will be attending the University of Texas at Dallas in the Fall to study animation.

Watercolor artist Craig Lay did a wonderful job speaking about his inspiration, technique, and artistic journey tonight at our April meeting. Thank you Craig!

I wanted to let you know about a special exhibit taking place this weekend at the Cove in McKinney. Our member and friend Anju Pala's show titled "The Quiet Glow of Form and Bloom" is happening Friday afternoon from 5:00-9:00 PM and Saturday form 3:00-9:00 PM. Kat Warwick will also have her sculptures on display. I hope will drop by and show your support!

Every bloom, every form, and every glow tells a story completed by the viewer's own experience.
