I was introduced to The Archetype Process presets this year. AND they have been GAME CHANGERS.

My base editing starts with the preset to keep my colors consistent and my style flowing the same throughout the gallery.

The editing never stops at the preset. I adjust the details for each photo.

As I have a slower season in my business, I have been practicing more with my editing and there’s a big difference in my past style and now.

and I AM IN LOVE

my previous editing was yes “light and airy” and I still love that style, but I have grown to love more color and warmth in my photos.

Skin tones FEEL softer

Warm colors FEEL cozier and dare I say a way of nostalgia

Pure white and removing greens and yellows were removing the affection I feel in the new edits

This photo is from 5 years ago?? Not sure tbh but a long time ago

My shooting now is more precise and intentional but my overall passion of story telling is still there

This photo has a lot of distraction from the intimate moment between mom and daughter

So cropping in really close focused in on mom’s loving gaze at her baby girl who is exploring mom’s details like her necklace

This is why I refer to my “pricing package” as my Story Session

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love family photos, but my kids are just… a lot,” I want you to know you’re not alone.

Some of the families I love photographing most are the ones who walk in saying, “I’m warning you now…” 😂

Because real family life isn’t perfectly coordinated. It’s loud, silly, messy, affectionate, unpredictable, and full of personality. And I don’t want to take that away from your photos.
