When I was 17, I captured my first wedding using my trusty Canon AE-1 camera that I found at a yard sale. I can remember the nerves like it was yesterday…but it was then that I realized my heart was in weddings. 6 years later, Pixy Prints Photography was born and for the past 17 years, this business has been my dedication and joy. Documenting countless memories and special moments for so many people has deeply touched my heart. Today, it is with a bittersweetness that I share I have relocated to Arizona for my husband’s new job. Although this move will significantly impact my photography business, I plan to continue shooting a few weddings annually in Oregon. Upon my return, I plan to schedule mini sessions when I come back…so stay tuned for updates on those! I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support and love I have received throughout my business journey. Thank you to each and every one of you who have stood by me and trusted me with your photography needs. Instead of a selfie, I chose to share a photo with some of the individuals who have been my pillars during this incredible adventure. I wanted to highlight the importance of community in building a business like mine. It takes the invaluable support from friends and colleagues to make something like this happen. As a self-employed individual, we may not have coworkers, but we do find amazing friends in the industry. While there are many more of you I would have loved to connect with before leaving, I know that I will return and have the opportunity to spend time with you all.
