Beginning at 10:00 a.m. today, Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 the Landfill will be closed due to high winds.

Conditions will be monitored throughout the day, and the Landfill will reopen if conditions improve and it is safe to do so.

Residential collection will continue until notified otherwise.

Founded in 2017, Acro Stars is a nonprofit organization offering gymnastics and cheer to athletes in Ray and, most recently, Williston with the opening of our newest location. Home to athletes from Ray, Tioga, Williston, Powers Lake, Wildrose and Stanley, they offer opportunities for children of every age, ability and experience level.

Through their programs, they strive to give athletes a strong foundation for life—not just through the skills they learn in the gym, but through the confidence, perseverance and determination they develop along the way.

Since its founding in 2017, Acro Stars has seen over 1,000 athletes participate in their programs. Just earlier this year, Acro Stars Gymnastics introduced cheerleading into the organization!
