It’s Thursday May 21,2026 and we are in store for another Space X Double Header Spectacular today!

Space X woke us all up this morning for a spectacular Sunrise Falcon 9 Rocket Launch.
Placing 29 Starlink Satellites into LOE, block 5 Booster B1077, in its 28th mission, lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Space Launch Complex 40 at 6:04 AM this morning silhouetted by a gorgeous Florida Sunrise . The Starlink Satellites will join the Starlink Mega Constellation providing affordable high speed internet and soon to debut, direct satellite to cell phone connectivity.
Following a Northeast trajectory, approximately 8 minutes later, the booster on its 28th mission , returned to Earth and landed On the (ASDS) autonomous drone vessel , A Shortfall of Gravitas.(ASOG) stationed in the Atlantic just off the Georgia coast. Even though the sky was cloudy, we got a great view of the booster and fairings separation.

SPACE X CRS-2 MISSION
Well the third time proved to be the charm as Space X finally launched the Falcon 9 CRS-2 SpX-34 re-supply mission to the International Space Station .
The fiery liftoff at 6:06 PM from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station SLC-40 was on-time under partly cloudy skies. The clouds obscured our view of the booster separation, but not its Return to Launch Site as it returned 8 minutes after launch to LZ-40 followed by its roaring Sonic Booms!
