It is always special to share in these special moments with people who are dear to you! I was so honored to meet the guy who makes Kalen laugh like Lou does! Their engagement session was full of SO much laughter, celebration of their love for couple's t-shirts, "Yeah, it's our thing!" and prancing around Memphis.

Cannot wait to celebrate Christmas with them as they celebrate their marriage!

Five years ago today, the beautiful wedding of Allie Twiford and Jay Twiford at The Angus Barn, marked my very last North Carolina wedding, and the finish of my full-time wedding photography career. I hopped into the car the day after their unforgettable day and headed west to .

Today, I raise my glass to the Twiford's and toast the life they've built this last half a decade, and the family they've created.

With that, I also announce that I'll be getting back into photography. Thought I never stopped, it has become more part-time than I would like, and my soul craves the creativity. I will continue my HR career, as it is deeply satisfying, but I will be opening up limited availability to capture love and boost confidence through imagery!
