Florence. Early morning.
The city center is still almost empty. The market is just waking up — bags, belts, souvenirs, and all kinds of Italian treasures are already hanging on the stalls.
And right beside it sits the famous bronze boar — one of Florence’s little tourist traditions. They say that if you rub his snout, you’ll return to Florence one day.
In the first photo — the quiet of early morning.
In the second — the crowd has arrived, and a young girl is rubbing the boar’s snout, keeping the old tradition alive.
The snout, of course, is shining again.
Florence in black and white.
