camp self, best self🦋

each summer, I have the privilege and honor to travel across the country and document the magic as the returning Photographer & Videographer for three chapters. these chapters are ones that I have been with for years and feel like family to me; I'm not just snapping pics from afar... I'm called on for camp songs, I'm given friendship bracelets, I'm tracked down during free hugs -- I'm included & welcomed with so much love💙

this organization means the world to me. as someone who has experienced a parent's cancer diagnosis, I am just so thankful this community exists for these campers. I just finished my 25th session with Kesem, during the 25th anniversary year of this life-changing organization (and during my mom's 12 year anniversary from her last chemotherapy🥹), and I am already counting down to my other three weeks this summer. I cherish every moment that I'm able to be Rugrat, and I am abundantly grateful to be trusted to capture such beautiful moments💚

Kesem is a nationwide non-profit organization that provides year round support for children impacted by a caregiver’s cancer diagnosis, run completely on donations fundraised by extremely passionate college students at universities across the country. You have the opportunity to help children, like Cookie Monster, attend their favorite place in a city near you. Please consider making the magic come to life by donating today.💚💙
