It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Life has been busy with other ventures and “astro season” in Florida has to wait for less cloud cover and a lot less humidity. Well, it’s finally open season! 😊

This is a 5-hour, 27-sub photo of the Western Veil Nebula shot from September 18-19, 2025. I plan to get a lot more data over the next several weeks before it becomes hard to see from home. Such a gorgeous region!

I’m starting to build up my equipment by adding some lighting options to, hopefully, one day have a studio. This is the first of my options to arrive. The flexibility this panel adds to lighting conditions is incredible! I’m anxious to start using this for various setups! My Lume Cube XLs should be here by the weekend! 😊🙌👍

I've spent the past few nights imaging M81 (Bode's Galaxy, left) and M82 (Cigar Galaxy, right), and I think this turned out very well! For as small as they were in the original frames and to get this much detail out of them after cropping and upsizing, I have no complaints!
