Walking through Atalaya Castle for the first time felt like stepping into another era. The weathered brick, hidden archways, and quiet corners all have a story to tell. It's one of those places that reminds me to slow down, look a little closer, and appreciate the details that time leaves behind.

Figured I’d better grab some “before” photos… because it’s officially time to start making a few not-so-subtle changes.

The first round is already underway with a light bar, winch, and a set of Bilstein front shocks temporarily installed. It’s just the beginning, but I’m pretty excited to start building this thing into something that’ll get me to even more remote locations in search of the next great shot.

Looks like I’m going to have to sell a few more photos to keep this project moving.

Here’s to new adventures, new trails, and even better places to put the camera to work. 📸

Decided to do something a little different today while at the park for a birthday party. 🦆📸

The ducks and geese were everywhere, so I figured... why not? Sometimes it's nice to put the cars and trucks on pause and just enjoy whatever ends up in front of the lens.

Took a quick break from the 4th of July project I'm working on to grab a few shots of this VW for a friend at work.

One of the coolest parts about being around the automotive world every day is seeing how different everyone's passion is. Some are into lifted Jeeps, others build classic muscle, imports, exotics, or clean daily drivers. The style may be different, but the dedication is always the same.

Long nights in the shop. Marketplace finds that somehow become the perfect part. Trial and error. Learning as you go. The excitement when a build finally comes together.

No matter what you drive, the passion behind it is what makes this community so great. 🤘📸

Didn’t come home with a memory card full of photos this time, but that wasn’t really the goal.

Spent the day getting some seat time in the new Jeep out at Brown Mountain OHV. A few of the obstacles have definitely gotten a little more technical since my last trip, which made it even more fun.

I’m excited about what this Jeep is going to open up—not just for the adventures, but for the photos and stories we’ll be able to capture along the way. Looking forward to exploring new trails, chasing better light, and documenting builds where they belong… out on the trail.

Waited a little while to post this one.

I’ve had the chance to see this Jeep evolve through every stage of the build, and I can honestly say this version is my favorite. The time, effort, and attention to detail that went into it really shows.

Grateful I got to capture it in one of my favorite places in North Carolina. Sometimes the right build deserves the right backdrop.
