One of my favorite parts of a wedding day will always be the details. Okay, I have a very specific request and I’m hoping Facebook can help me make it happen.

I’m going to Charleston, South Carolina on October 3 specifically for photography. I already have people I’ll be photographing while I’m there, but somehow I don’t have an engaged couple, and I REALLY want to photograph an engagement session at Cypress Gardens.

If you don’t know Cypress Gardens, this is where they filmed the iconic rowboat scene in The Notebook. It is absolutely beautiful and I have been dying to photograph a couple there.

So I’m looking for ONE engaged couple and I’m offering the session completely FREE. And no, you absolutely do not need to have any modeling experience.

If you’re engaged and have ever wanted an excuse for a little weekend getaway to Charleston, here it is. You get yourselves to Charleston, cover your admission into Cypress Gardens, and I’ll take care of the photography.

I’m also including one roll of film. Film is something I’m just starting to incorporate into my work, so I’m looking to build that part of my portfolio while I’m there too.

AND if someone happens to be planning a proposal and wants to do it there, PLEASE message me. A real proposal would be absolutely phenomenal to photograph. Obviously we would keep everything completely secret from your significant other and plan all the details together.

And one last little bonus. As a thank you to the couple who does this for me, if you end up wanting me to photograph your wedding too, I’ll take $200 off your wedding package. There is absolutely no obligation to book your wedding with me afterward.

Because this is a model call and I have a specific vision for the session, I’ll want to work with you a little on outfits and the overall look. I’ll also be using the photos for my portfolio, website, social media, and advertising.

So basically, I need an engaged couple (or someone ready to GET engaged 👀) who wants to take a little trip to Charleston in October and let me photograph you at The Notebook location for free.

Charleston, South Carolina!!!!! 👀

Okay, I am so excited! I am officially traveling for photos and Saturday, October 3rd is dedicated to taking pictures at Cypress Gardens. This one feels extra special to me because I remember watching The Notebook when I was little and thinking the boat scene was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. Now somehow I’m going to get to actually be there, camera in hand, taking beautiful pictures of beautiful people in the same place. Like… what is this life that I’m living?!

This will be my first time traveling specifically for photography and I seriously cannot wait. I already have a few sessions planned, but I can absolutely make more work. So if you’re in the Charleston area and want pictures while I’m there, I’m your girl. And PA friends, if you want to be just as crazy as I am and travel 10+ hours just for pictures, I’d love to see you there!

When I told my husband I was going to have to travel for work and started asking if he wanted to come with me, this man thought I meant my actual adult job and he couldn’t understand the details of the trip. No sir, I’ve just got pictures to take. Anyway, now we’re making a little getaway out of it and I’m bringing him along to row the boat for me. He just doesn’t know about that part yet.

I don’t even know how to put into words how excited I am that this little hobby of mine is taking me places I never imagined it would.

Patiently counting down the days until Shawn and Lindsay’s wedding. The whole reason for this little meet up was to check out where they’re getting married and for me to play around with film, which is something new I’ve been so excited to try. But obviously, since we were already there, I had to pull out my regular camera too and I am SO glad I did because I’m absolutely obsessed with these two 🥰 As if I wasn’t already excited enough for their wedding, I just found out there are going to be actual DUCKS there! Are you kidding me?! I cannot wait. How perfect are they?! 🤍

Got to see my girl Kuy on graduation day, which somehow made this session even more special because it also happened to be Mother’s Day 🤍 Her mama, sister, and friend were all there celebrating alongside her, and we spent some time together taking these photos.

How beautiful are these ladies?! Not only beautiful, but genuinely so sweet, fun, and full of love for each other. Sessions like this are such a reminder that graduation is about so much more than just the degree. It’s about the people who helped get you there too.

So thankful I got the opportunity to do this for Kuy, and I already can’t wait until the next time we get together!
