what a great day this was!

Running a full marathon isn’t just about race day - it’s about the early mornings, the tough miles, and proving to yourself that you can do hard things.

If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe someday…” - today is your day.

Set the goal. Trust the training. Chase the finish line. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Rooted deep in the South Dakota prairie, Native American plant knowledge carries generations of wisdom. We lived in rhythm with the land, using prairie plants for food, medicine, and ceremony. Sage, sweetgrass, chokecherries their stems and roots held purpose, teaching respect and balance. Today, native prairie plants still whisper that story across open grasslands, resilient against wind and time. As we walk these fields, we’re invited to remember: the land is not just scenery. Land it is legacy and provision still speaking to those listening. with .greene.5 BlackHillsPhotoShootout

Western code lives strong here: rise early, work hard, speak plain, trust God, and keep your word. The sun edges below the horizon, brushing the land in amber, and with it reflections of purpose for another day to ride honest and care for what’s been given to us. follow

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1 (ESV)

Late summer in South Dakota carries a quiet kind of wisdom. The grasses soften to gold, the air settles, and the waters grow still enough to mirror the world above them. Standing at the edge of a lake lined with weathered rocks and steady trees, you can see the reflection so clearly.

It’s hard not to think about our own lives in that moment.

What are we reflecting?

The trees don’t strive to impress the water. They simply stand, rooted and present, and the reflection comes naturally. In the same way, when we stay rooted in God, grounded in His Word, steady in prayer, our lives begin to reflect Him without force.
The rocks remind us of seasons that have shaped us. The still water reminds us that reflection requires quiet.

Maybe the invitation today is simple: be still long enough to notice what your life is reflecting and gently turn it back toward Him.

Because when we do, even the ordinary becomes a testimony. If you do not know Jesus, message me!
Today is good day for a good day!
