Engaging my subjects; teens, canines, and grown-ups by photographing on location, setting up the scene, and waiting patiently for moments to happen. True-to-life moments are revealed every time Stephanie gets behind her camera. As the owner of Stephanie Bartz Photography, she’s equal parts detective, dot-connector, and storyteller. Rated #1 on Milwaukee’s A-List for Pet Photography, Stephanie has been capturing hearts, scenes, and spaces throughout Southeastern Wisconsin for more than two decades by providing:

Branding for creative businesses and business professionals;

Location scouting for major television and film industry experts;

Personal portraiture of individuals, loved ones, and families;

Beloved dog portraiture that melt hearts of cat people, too. The magic Stephanie creates behind her camera starts with her ears. She takes time to listen to her subjects, make them feel at ease, and unveils their true essence in breath-taking fashion. Ready to see yourself, your loved ones, or your surroundings like you never have before?

While scouting for my next photo shoot, I happened upon this artist, James Barnay. While he worked, we chatted and he explained his process of painting murals. He doesn't use a projector but preps the wall by using a grid method.
The story that is unfolding is about the history of some of the people who came through Ellis island and ended up in Waukesha.
I asked him if he is on social media, and he said, yes and no. He doesn't really post, but others post about him. Well, I guess i'm one of the people now sharing his art and story.

I highly recommend and encourage you to seek out this incredible prolific artist, Jay Arpin.

His art show Ninety-Nine Percent is up thru Oct.11th Var Gallery

He's such a skilled and clever creative. I'm honestly in awe of his art.
I love that he also hung up some of his carved woodblocks!
