Film will always have my heart. I haven’t taken a lot of time to shoot creatively with photography the last few years, but I still manage to carry disposables around wherever I go. Film is one of the only ways I still feel like I’m experimenting and practicing with photography. I’m planning to incorporate 35mm, 120mm, and polaroid film into my work a lot more this upcoming year!

From a recent family photo session this summer. My biggest tip on posing with your loved ones is hands. Touch is one of the best ways to show the comfortability and connection between people. If you ever feel like you don’t know what to do with your hands, you can grab whoever’s hand is next to you, you can put your arm around their shoulder, you can fix their makeup. So acting natural, can add authentic emotion to the memories
