Today is 9 months since Renee Good was shot in the head by ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who then walked away calling her a “f**king bitch”. Afterwards, agents refused to allow a physician at the scene to render aid.

No one has been held responsible for the killing.

Protesters marched through Downtown Minneapolis today in a protest supported by a large list of unions and community groups. They made stops outside Target and the Federal Courthouse where they ask for Target to sign the Democracy Pledge and demanded charges against all Anti-ICE protesters be dropped.

Speakers shared stories of the resistance and the importance of the unions in protecting workers in Minnesota and the attacks on journalists over the last 6 years in Minneapolis.

During Operation Metro Surge, I took this photo of a front yard in South Minneapolis. It depicts a CAVA bag stuffed with $50,000 in cash, referencing reports that White House border czar Tom Homan was recorded accepting $50,000 in a CAVA bag from undercover FBI agents during a 2024 bribery investigation
