Style / Preparation Guide
I get ask quite often what you should wear or how to prepare , here is some helpful tips!
Styling plays such a huge part in how your final gallery turns out 🤍 The colors, textures, and outfits you choose truly help bring your photos to life and allow my editing style to come through beautifully. Thoughtful styling helps create balance, contrast, focus, motion, and pattern throughout your gallery ,almost like a painted image full of emotion and connection.
When planning outfits, I always recommend coordinating instead of matching exactly. Soft neutrals, creams, muted greens, blues, soft pinks, black, and denim photograph beautifully together. Even a cute dress with some pattern ! I do ask that you avoid browns, burnt orange/rust tones, neon colors, busy graphics, and too much white, as these can sometimes affect how the photos edit and photograph overall.
Layers are always encouraged! Jackets, cardigans, hats, blankets, or textured pieces can add so much depth and variety to your gallery. If little ones are involved, bringing snacks, drinks, and comfort items can make such a difference too 🤍 I also recommend allowing yourself time to relax before your session instead of rushing in stressed. The most beautiful photos happen when everyone feels comfortable, connected, and fully present with each other.
My goal is always to create images that feel timeless, emotional, and true to you, and thoughtful styling helps make that possible in the best way ✨
