A few weeks late, but I graduated from the University of South Alabama earlier this month with my Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Meteorology with minors in Math and Journalism! I love my time there and couldn’t have done it without support from family and so many great friends! I would also like to thank all of the incredible professors and meteorologists that have helped me along the way!

I truly enjoyed my time there from serving on the SeCAPS committee to being an officer in the AMS Chapter, to the different internships and so much more! I will miss and cherish my time there, but look forward to whatever is next, hopefully starting my career as a meteorologist!

☔ Rain is on the way!

After a long period of dry, warm weather, we are expecting a few rounds of showers and thunderstorms this week. Some storms possible WED, THU and FRI evening and Saturday ahead of a cold front. Some spots could see 1-2", helping our ongoing drought!

Happy Good Friday, it will be dry and quite warm today and Saturday, but unfortunately it looks like a wet Easter Sunday. We are watching for some widespread rain and maybe a rumble of thunder or two (no severe weather expected) Easter Morning lasting into the afternoon.

Rain? It's been a while since we've seen rain on the radar here on the Gulf Coast. Tracking a few showers this evening, and a few afternoon scattered thunderstorms each day this week. Nothing too widespread, but may help some locations ease the drought ever so slightly.
