What a roller coaster of emotions for this one. Originally received the call for this buck on Friday morning. In the evening, I quickly located the buck, alive, not far from where the hunter last saw him. After 4 rechecks throughout the weekend, the buck finally expired and the hunter was able to retrieve him. What an absolutely beautiful buck and congratulations to the hunter!

Things are starting to HEAT up in the woods! I received a call last night for a deer that I suspected was hit further back, based on the phone conversation. About 4 hours after the shot, I located the buck, alive, 200 yards from the tree stand. Early this morning, I returned to recheck the buck and found him about 80 yards from where he was last night! Congratulations to the hunter!
