🥹🥹🥹 I’m completely speechless and anyone who knows me knows that never happens. I never imagined that in the past few years I would be a multi published photographer, have my work featured in magazines and covers. Be nominated for the Monroe Best Award for 2026, and now win the 2026 Quality Business Award. It’s been such a great journey. I know I couldn’t have done this without my hubbys love and support and pushed me to follow my dreams. All the support that my friends, family, and clients have shown me. My mentor Bailey and the other photographers support. Sharing my work, recommending me to others, all the referrals, and all the messages, comments, and shares that keeps that inner little girl’s dreams alive.

I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how thankful I am for everyone who took the time to vote for me in the Best of Monroe 2026 competition for Pumpkin Patch Photography.

When I started doing photography again, it wasn’t because I was chasing awards or recognition. I just wanted to provide affordable photography for families in our community and help people preserve the moments that matter most. Life moves so fast, and I truly believe everyone deserves to have those special memories captured so they can look back on them for years to come.

Being nominated was already such an honor, especially because I was up against some incredibly talented photographers. There are so many amazing people in this industry, and to even be considered alongside them means a lot.

To everyone who voted, shared my posts, recommended me to a friend, booked a session, or supported my business in any way—thank you. Every like, comment, share, and kind word has helped me more than you’ll ever know.

As a small business owner, there are days when you wonder if what you’re doing is making a difference. Then something like this happens, and it reminds me just how lucky I am to have such amazing clients, friends, family, and community behind me.

No matter what happens, I am beyond grateful. The fact that so many people thought enough of me and my work to cast a vote means the world.

This little guy stole the show. He definitely stole my heart. He completely amazed me by holding his own pacifier at 2 weeks old. Feeling all the love this little guy brings, there’s no doubt that his parents feel in love with him before they even saw his beautiful face.
