Emotional Map in Progress - hanging this one up for a bit to marinate. Itā€™s clearly unfinished but I canā€™t yet see the path to the finish line. On one hand, the chaos is the point. On the other, but where does the eye find rest?

Collage in Progress: VictoriOrgy - Some pieces get worked on for longer than one might think. Some pieces start as play and then become serious. Iā€™m really vibing with these masses, mountains, and piles of people these days. I pick and tease little threads of social norms out of the fabric and try to facilitate connections. What connections are you making when you review this scene?

Emotional Mapping? Might be a good term for these pieces. I try to keep a map going at all times. They are low thought, highly somatic works that usually take months to complete. I often have to make myself stop and start a new one. Art making is part of my mental health workout. I crave it. I can tell when I havenā€™t done it. My body needs it.
